Eclipse CEO completes charity cycle ride with cricketing legend

Eclipse Sports Event's CEO Nigel Marsh has completed a charity cycle ride in aid of the Children's Hospice South West.

The event, which was organised by cricketing legend Marcus Trescothick as part of his Trestimonial year for 2018, raised money and awareness of the South West Children's Hospice charity, for which Marcus is the patron.

The team, made up of around 20 cyclists, rode from Keynsham near Bristol down to Lands End in Cornwall.  Nigel joined for the Taunton to Cornwall section.

"It was pretty gruelling but the money we were raising to help families in need kept us going.  The team spirit was incredible and it looks like we will be raising well over £15,000!" 

Children's Hospice South West provides care to children with life limiting illnesses across Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, and gives much needed support to families with end of life and respite care.  For more information visit https://www.chsw.org.uk
